BABALA SA PUBLIKO

Ayon sa Republic Act 9484 na siyang natatanging batas para sa regulasyon ng propesyong pang dental, ang sino mang mapapatunayan na gumagawa ng gawain ng mga Dentista na walang sapat na kasanayan at lisensya mula sa pamahalaan ay lalapatan ng kaukulang parusa ayon sa mga sumusunod:

1. Pagmumulta ng hindi bababa sa PhP 200,000.00 at hindi hihigit sa PhP 500,000.00
2. Pagkakakulong mula sa 2 hanggang 5 taon.
3. O pareho pagmumulta at pagkakakulong.

Ang mga halimbawa ng pinagbabawal na gawin nang walang sapat na lisensya or permiso mula sa pamahalaan ay ang mga sumusunod :

Ang pagsusukat, pagbubunot at pagpapapasta ng ngipin, paglalagay ng dental implants, orthodontic brackets o braces at pagsusulat at pagbibigay ng reseta para sa karamdamang dental at iba pa na naaayon sa Artikulo 1 Section 4 na pinamagatan "Scope of Dental Practice".

Hinihikayat din ang publiko na ipagbigay alam sa awtoridad, kapulisan o kabaranggayan o sa Philippine Dental Association ang ano mang uri ng paglabag ng nasabing batas para na din sa wastong pangangalaga ng kagalingan at kalusugan ng mga mamamayang Filipino.
