SUCCESSFUL ANG ATING CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING SA SUPER HEALTH CENTER!

Nagtulungan ang City Health Office III at City Health Office IV upang matagumpay na maisagawa ang Cervical Cancer Screening para sa mga kababaihan ng Barangay Salawag gamit ang Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA).

Sa ating masisipag na mga doctor, Dr. Daniel Panaglima at Dr. Mara Dionisio, nurses at midwives at mga volunteer health community workers maraming salamat sa inyong dedikasyon, malasakit, at serbisyo para sa ating komunidad. 🌼

At sa lahat ng kababaihang lumahok salamat sa inyong tapang at pagpapahalaga sa sariling kalusugan. Kayo ang inspirasyon ng aming patuloy na pagsusumikap.

In reference to PhilHealth Advisory No. 2025-0054 – PhilHealth Member Advisory: YAKAP Clinic, GAMOT, and Cancer Screening Implementation Process, this is to inform all stakeholders, partner facilities, and members that:
As of this advisory, PhilHealth GAMOT services are still not available in Region IV-A (Cavite, Laguna, Quezon). The rollout of the GAMOT pharmacy benefits will follow the national implementation process, which includes the following steps outlined in the PhilHealth Advisory:
1. YAKAP Clinic Readiness – Facilities must first meet the readiness requirements.
2. Doctor Training – Physicians must complete the GAMOT training and prescription standards.
3. GAMOT App Access – Only after both readiness and doctor training are completed will the clinic be granted access to the GAMOT system.
In line with Step 3 above, the availability of GAMOT services in Region IV-A will commence only upon completion of the readiness assessment, doctor training, and activation of GAMOT App access by accredited facilities.
At present, the GAMOT implementation remains in the pilot phase in the National Capital Region (NCR). Updates on the readiness status of Region IV-A and the start of GAMOT services will be issued once the necessary steps are completed.

In line with the National Tuberculosis Program and in partnership with Culion Foundation Inc, City Health Office III conducted active case finding activity at Viva Homes Covered Court yesterday (September 16, 2025). A total of 150 individuals availed the free chest x-ray service.
