𝐋𝐲𝐧𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬 is a skin condition in cats caused by the fur mite 𝘓𝘺𝘯𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘴 species. This mite primarily affects cats in tropical and subtropical regions.

✍️ Clinical Signs include:
- Dull, scruffy coat with excessive dandruff
- Hair loss (alopecia), especially on the back, tail, and hindquarters
- Itching (pruritus), which can range from mild to severe
- Overgrooming, due to irritation
- Brownish discoloration of hair shafts, particularly in affected areas

🔬Diagnosis is typically made through microscopic examination of hair and skin samples. Treatment involves topical or systemic antiparasitics and thorough environmental cleaning to prevent reinfestation. 🐈
