Happy National Respiratory Therapy Week! 🇵🇭

This day starts the celebration of National Respiratory Therapy / Respiratory Care Week, per Presidential Proclamation 207, Series of 1993 with the theme, "Respiratory Therapist, United in Achieving A Healthier Future for Every Filipino"

This week-long celebration aims to "encourage, develop and advance the art and science of respiratory care by promoting the understanding and utilization of Respiratory Therapy"

Further, this week encourages the "need to focus national awareness and consciousness in the prevention and treatment of respiratory ailments"

Come and join us, as we uplift the profession of Respiratory Therapist and promote national awareness for Respiratory health.

𝑷𝑻𝑹𝑬 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕 1 – 𝑨𝒏 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒔

The School of Physical Therapy and Respiratory Therapy (SPTRE) of Emilio Aguinaldo College Cavite (EACC) lit up the night with dazzling energy during the most awaited SPTRE Days 2025, held with the theme “Synergy: Strength in Harmony” on March 12, 2025, at the Multipurpose Hall.

The event opened with a warm message from Dr. Jerald A. Mendoza, Dean of the School of Physical Therapy, setting the tone for an exciting celebration. Hosted by Ms. Shaira Marie Dado and Ms. Zoe Jolin, the event featured lively segments, including the “Hep Hep Hooray” ice breakers, followed by showcases of talent through PTRE Got Talent and the PTRE Shorts: Video Making Competition. Interactive games like PTRE Bingo, Sa’yo Yarn, and Diamond Draw kept the crowd energized. Attendees were also treated to a TikTok Dance Off and witnessed the symbolic Final Walk and Passing of the Crown.

The evening concluded with an awarding ceremony led by Ms. Teoce Gozon and Ms. Fhelomenarose Verzosa, recognizing outstanding performances and entries, followed by the closing remarks delivered by Mr. Joseph Michael Bautista, the PTRE Student Council President.

The event highlighted creativity, unity, and school spirit, leaving everyone with lasting memories.

The School of Physical Therapy and Respiratory Therapy (SPTRE) of Emilio Aguinaldo College Cavite held its most anticipated 𝑷𝑻𝑹𝑬 Days 2025 with the theme of “𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲: 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲”, bringing the students together with a day filled with fun, fitness, and enthusiasm.

The event began with an inspiring opening ceremony led by Dr. Albert Lee A. Catibayan, Dean of the School of Respiratory Therapy. Afterwards, Amazing Race-style activity, “REady, PTset, Go!”, followed by various afternoon games such as E-Games, Board Games, CineCare, and Vital Quest occured, leaving a memorable day for everyone.

As the sun set on a day filled with cheers, laughter, and connection, SPTRE in Motion proved to be more than just a series of games—it was a celebration of passion, purpose, and the unbreakable spirit of future healthcare heroes.
