Isang Malaking Pagbabago sa Food Guide

Sa loob ng maraming dekada, tinuruan tayo ng lumang food pyramid na kanin, tinapay, at cereals ang dapat kainin nang pinakamarami—habang ang taba at protina ay dapat limitahan.

Ang resulta?
👉 Tumataas ang obesity, diabetes, hypertension, at iba pang lifestyle diseases.

Ngayon, malinaw na ang sinasabi ng Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2025–2030:
kailangan nang i-reset ang paraan ng pagkain.

Sa bagong inverted food pyramid, hindi na carbohydrates ang pundasyon. Sa halip, protein, healthy fats, at whole foods na ang nasa ilalim—ang mga pagkaing tunay na nagbibigay ng sustansya, busog, at stable na enerhiya.

Ang pagbabagong ito ay hindi aksidente. Ito ay resulta ng lumalalim na siyensya na nagpapakita na ang sobrang processed food, asukal, at refined carbs ang ugat ng maraming sakit ngayon.
