Ang miscarriage ay isang sakit na madalas tahimik, isang pangarap na nabuo sa puso bago pa man marinig ang unang tibok. Sa bawat dalawang guhit sa pregnancy test, may kasamang mga pangarap, mga pangalang pinag-iisipan, mga damit na nai-imagine, mga hinaharap na binubuo sa isip ng isang ina. At kapag biglang nawala, para ring may piraso ng puso ang napigtas.

Bilang isang OBGYN, ako ay hindi lang nakatuon sa pisikal na kalagayan ng ina. Binibigyan ko rin ng aruga ang isang inang nanginginig, binibigyan ng kaliwanagan ang utak na tuliro, binabantayan ang katawan upang masigurong ligtas ito sa impeksyon o komplikasyon. Ngunit higit pa roon, binabantayan din ang puso sa pamamagitan ng malasakit, pag-unawa, at paggalang sa pagdadalamhati.

Spent a meaningful few days at Roxas Unihealth Medical Clinic for our OBGYN medical mission. There is nothing more fulfilling than bringing specialized care to the doorstep of those who need it most. Over 35+ Palaweñas received free healthcare and imaging!

It is truly meaningful to witness how the values we learned in medical school continue to guide us in our professional journeys.

Dr. Noel Quinto and I are from the same medical school batch. I pursued Internal Medicine, while he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Though we chose different paths, we remain united by a shared commitment to service.

His recent medical mission at Roxas Unihealth Medical Clinic in Roxas, Palawan-- traveling all the way from Cavite reflects the enduring La Sallian principles of Faith, Service, and Communion.

Beyond professional collaboration, this initiative represents a shared dedication to extending quality healthcare to communities in need.

From small group discussions in the halls of medical school to serving patients here in Palawan, the La Sallian spirit continues to live on--not only in our titles, but in our commitment to compassionate and accessible care.

A safe and successful 12 cm. ovarian cyst removal in a pregnant patient!

Every pregnancy journey is unique, and sometimes it requires careful surgical intervention to protect both mother and baby. Grateful for the trust and the opportunity to provide safe, precise care when it matters most.
