Kilala nyo po ba sya? Alam mo ba na sya ang Filipino Microbiologist na si Dr. Abelardo B. Aguilar nakadiscover ng ERYTHROMYCIN na taga Iloilo noong 1949. Isang uri ng bakterya na tinatawag na Saccharopolyspora erythraea (na dating kilala bilang Streptomyces erythraeus), na natagpuan sa mga sample ng lupa mula sa Iloilo. At noong 1952 dinaklara na bagong antibiotic ang Erythromycin (Ilosone) sa kumpanya ng Eli Lilly and company.
