Integrated Clinics of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery We are a dynamic group of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (ENT-HNS) Specialists providing exce ICOHNS, Inc. is an ENT-Head and Neck Center.

We see patients with ear, nose, throat head and neck tumors. We are the pioneer of ambulatory ENT-Head and Neck Center in the Philippines. The center boasts of outpatient head and neck endoscopy (nose, nasopharynx, larynx, including evaluation of swallow), rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, biopsy of tumors, sleep study and hearing evaluation (adult and pediatric). Among the few "chief complaints" that

we see: Hearing loss, ear pain, foreign body, ear/nose/throat, goiter, nasal obstruction, hoarseness, snoring, sore throat, difficulty in swallow and head and neck tumors. ICOHNS has subspecialists in Otology, Rhinology, Laryngology (Voice and Swallow), Sleep, Facial Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery and Reconstruction. The visionaries of this "ONE STOP ENT CENTER" were Dr. Gil Yarra (graduate of Jose Reyes Memorial Center), Dr. Christine Del Monte-Dayanghirang (graduate of the UP College of Medicine-Philippine General Hospital) and Dr. Veronica Magnaye (graduate of the UP College of Medicine-Philippine General Hospital). The group practice began in 2004 as a small clinic at Brokenshire Hospital. The center moved to its present location in the heart of Davao City in 2011. Today, ICOHNS is proud to have five (5) other very accomplished Otolaryngologists (fellows in their respective fields) in the practice: Dr. Homer Matias, Dr. Ariff Baguindali, Dr. Joseph Cachuela, Dr. Chris Robinson Laganao and Dr. Danzon de Castro.

If you have an ulcer or a swelling on the tongue- do consult. This long standing “singaw” or mass in the oral cavity — especially the tongue or in the oropharynx, need to be checked by your ENT specialist.

We will publish photos of suspicious masses of the oral cavity and the oropharynx in our next post. We hope to help you get early diagnosis and treatment.
