GUIDELINES OR RULES FOR ELECTION OF BALIK-ISLAM DAVAO CITY
I.) NON-PARTISAN - Comelec chair and his committee members are not allowed to participate in the partisan campaign.
1. Election Committee is not allowed to go along with or accompany with any candidates for Balik-Islam Election.
2. No recommendation to any candidate - Election committee will not recommend candidates for their self-interest.
3. Election Committee is not allowed to post any influential person perceive to be recommending or endorsing a specific candidate.
II.) QUALIFIED VOTERS
1. Only eighteen (18) years old and above can vote on the day of the election.
2. No born Muslim children from balik-Islam parents are allowed to vote. The children from balik-Islam parents are not allowed to vote.
3. Voters are residents in Davao City.
III.) QUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES
1. Interested candidates for Presidential position must be a Balik-Islam, a resident in Davao City.
2. Must possess good leadership skills and adheres to the teaching and core values of Islam.
IV.) PARAPHERNALIAS NEEDED BY CANDIDATES
1. Each candidate are encouraged to have their tarpaulins and must submit their curriculum vitae and platforms to be posted in the official page of Balik-Islam.
2. Curriculum vitaes and platforms must be submitted to the Election Chairman.
3. Curriculum vitaes and platforms must be posted in the page of Balik-Islam and tarpaulin.
4. Each candidate must submit the names of authorized watcher to the election chairman five (5) days before the election for proper identification.
5. Each candidates are allowed to set-up a corner for food and snacks for the voters with their curriculum vitae and tarpaulin for platforms on election day.
V.) CAMPAIGN PERIOD
1. Candidates are permitted to campaign until the day of the election June 03, 2023.
VI.) ELECTION DAY
1. Election time starts at 9:00AM- 3:00PM, JUNE 03, 2023.
2. No voters are allowed to enter the voting premises without the certificate of identification of Balik-Islam from their Ustadh and Muslim leaders.
3. Election tarpaulins are only allowed to be displayed outside the voting premises.
4. The chairman of the election committee will serve as the sole ruling authority in decision for any problems, inquiries, and issues may arise.
VII. CLOSURE
1. The above rules and regulations in the conduct of election process were agreed upon of the following appointees during the commitee meeting,
