Si Paking Rabat ay miyembro ng ATENEO Basketball Team na nakakuha ng dalawang kampeonato noong early 50's. Binigyan siya ng monicker na "Rajah of Rebound" dahil sa mataas na vertical leap at nanguna sa offensive at defensive rebound.

Siya ay bahagi ng 1954 na nakakuha ng bronze medal na Fiba World Championship sa Rio de Janeiro at sa parehong taon ay nakakuha rin ng Gold Medal sa Asian Games na ginanap sa Maynila.

Ikinasal siya kay Edith Nakpil, isang dating beauty queen na sumabak sa Ms. Philippines pageant noong 50's.
Isa sa pinakamalaking responsibilidad ni Paking ay noong siya ay naging Gobernador/ Mayor ng Mati sa Davao Oriental. Isinulong niya ang pagiging lungsod ng Mati at naging component city ito noong Hunyo 19,2008 bago siya pumanaw.

Namatay siya noong July 19,2019 sa Davao Doctor Hospital dahil sa throat cancer.

Joe Jackson’s debut album features one of his most well-known songs, "Is She Really Going Out with Him?", but the album is much, much more than this.

This is not only one of the best ever debut LPs, but also one of my favourite albums of all time.

It’s tight, cutting edge, new wave rock, with Jackson’s clever lyrics offering his take on relationships, life, and the world at the time.

Joe Jackson recalled, “It positively reeks of London 1978–79….For a first album, this one's not bad, but I was only 23 when I made it…”

Too many good songs to list, the band is tight, and Graham Maby’s bass playing is exceptionally good.

“Look Sharp!” made the Top 20 in the US, Australia, and New Zealand.
