A meaningful and transformative morning unfolded on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, at 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝘆𝗺 as 𝗕𝗦𝗡 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟰 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 came together for a culminating seminar with the theme: “𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗔 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗿𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁.” 📚
The event was masterfully hosted by the ever-enthusiastic 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗗𝗝 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗔𝗡 🎤 who kept the energy high and the atmosphere engaging throughout the program.
𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗔. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗮, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗡, 𝗠𝗔𝗡 opened the session with inspiring remarks, offering a glimpse into the relevance of the day’s topic and reminding students of the vital connection between nursing practice and the legal-ethical framework in which it operates. ✨
A warm welcome and seamless introduction of the distinguished speakers were given by 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗗, and 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝘆𝗸𝗼, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗣, setting the tone for a lineup of insightful and impactful discussions. 👩⚕️👨⚕️
The first keynote speaker, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗼, discussed 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝟭𝟭𝟮𝟮𝟯 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁, emphasizing its impact on accessibility, equity, and the quality of health services. She highlighted the vital role of nurses in advancing UHC and navigating health policy reforms. 🌍🏥
This was followed by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗟𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗥𝗡, who tackled 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗼-𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴. Through real-life cases and legal insights, she underscored the importance of professional accountability and ethical decision-making in nursing practice. ⚖️🧠
As the seminar came to a close, Associate 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘁𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗡, 𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗣 delivered heartfelt closing remarks, leaving the students with a message to carry forward in their journey: “Safe journeys, and always be a nurse with a purpose.” 💙✨
The morning concluded with a solemn prayer led by 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗬𝗯𝗮ñ𝗲𝘇, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗔𝗡, reinforcing gratitude, humility, and purpose in the nursing profession. 🙏💫 More than a culmination of academic learning, the seminar served as a springboard into ethical and legal readiness, equipping future nurses with the insight and integrity to uphold the highest standards of care. 🩺👩⚕️
