From your first positive pregnancy test until now, I saw your courage and resilience. Being pregnant with diabetes is a challenging condition as it entails a lot of blood sugar monitoring and tons of insulin injections.

Baby Braverick’s name reflects your bravery and strength as a mother, as well.❤️.

Read Mrs. Kotson's , who successfully and safely delivered "Baby Brave" prematurely at 32 weeks, all while managing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus before her pregnancy and navigating diagnoses of Hypothyroidism and Gestational Hypertension during her pregnancy.

We are truly inspired by Mrs. Kotson's strength and resilience throughout her birthing journey. We would like to thank the Kotson family for trusting our Doctors and our Care Team with the well-being of both Mrs. Kotson and Baby Brave.

1. Application for SPMC Endocrinology Fellowship Training program has been extended until March 5, 2024.
2. Fellowship in Endocrinology Admission Test (FEAT):
March 8, 2024
3. Pre-fellowship period:
March 6 to 19, 2024 (1st batch)
April 1 to 14, 2024 (2nd batch)
4. Start of Fellowship Training:

Ma’am Jerlyn conceived naturally despite having type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dr. Sybil constantly monitored and successfully managed her blood sugar levels before, during and after pregnancy.

She delivered Baby Bella safely last June 2023.👶🏻

You can still get pregnant and deliver successfully even if you are diabetic BUT you must ensure regular clinic visits and you should always follow your Doctor’s advices.👩🏻‍⚕️
