It breaks our hearts to share that our beloved friend and brother Jabar has peacefully gone to rest. He was someone who never hesitated to help others, a friend with a generous heart, always ready to lift people up with his kindness and smile.

Now, it’s our turn to give back. His sudden passing and the medical efforts to revive him have left his family with heavy hospital and funeral expenses. We are knocking on the hearts of everyone whose lives he has touched, those who knew his goodness, to help us raise funds and give him the farewell he deserves.

No amount is too small. Every contribution is a way of saying thank you to Jabar for all the love and help he gave so FREELY.

"A systematic review in the International Journal of Drug Policy (McCarthy et al., 2025) finds that non-medical cannabis decriminalization and legalization significantly reduce cannabis-related arrests and offenses. The analysis of North American data shows that decriminalization lowers offenses by 13.5% to 75%, while full legalization decreases them by 33% to 87%. Decriminalization benefits both adults and youth, whereas legalization primarily affects adults. Despite overall reductions, racial and ethnic disparities in cannabis-related arrests persist. Researchers emphasize the need for additional policy measures to ensure equitable enforcement. The findings highlight how legalization continues to lessen the criminal justice burden associated with cannabis use."
