Julius Cesar Duran Honored as Gallon Donor by Davao Blood Center for MBD Initiative

Julius Cesar Duran has been recognized by the Davao Blood Center with a special token of appreciation for achieving the status of a "galloner" donor under the Mobile Blood Donation (MBD) program. This distinction is awarded to individuals who have donated a total of one gallon (approximately 3.785 liters) of blood throughout their donation journey—equivalent to around 8 to 10 separate donations, depending on blood volume per session.

The MBD program aims to bring blood donation services closer to communities across Davao City and surrounding areas, making it more convenient for residents to contribute to saving lives. By presenting this token to Mr. Duran, the Davao Blood Center hopes to inspire others to join the cause. Each blood donation can help up to three patients in need, addressing critical shortages in hospitals for procedures ranging from emergency care to chronic disease management.
