The BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO spearheaded by its committee head, Honorable Kagawad Rene T. Generalao, extends its deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude to all individuals and institutions who supported and made possible our participation in the Davao City Fire District Fire Olympics 2026 held on March 14, 2026.
We would like to recognize the invaluable support of the Barangay Council of Catalunan Pequeno, spearheaded by Honorable Barangay Captain Rodrigo A. Tangaro together with his Kagawads, Honorable Marie Chelle Baguilod, Honorable Kimwel Abella Cortez, Honorable Inday Tangaro Ladesma, Honorable Kagawad Rene T. Generalao, and Honorable Nicolas T. Nabasca, whose encouragement and assistance greatly contributed to our team’s preparation and participation in this meaningful event.
Our heartfelt thanks are also extended to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Mintal Fire Station, especially to Mr.Gimuel Ronquillo, for the guidance and support provided to our responders throughout this activity. Your commitment to strengthening fire response capabilities continues to inspire volunteer responders within our communities.
We likewise express our gratitude to the Barangay Mintal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee for their cooperation and support which helped us represent our barangay in this important gathering of emergency responders.
Our sincere appreciation is also extended to SafetyPro Rescuefor serving as one of our major sponsors, to Lyceum of the Philippines University for generously providing the venue, and to the Davao City Fire District for successfully hosting this remarkable event that promotes preparedness, teamwork, and excellence among fire responders and volunteers.
Finally, we extend our sincere appreciation to our Team Leader, Mr. Gleo Jayson Neniel, for the dedication, guidance, and leadership shown throughout the preparation and the competition. Your encouragement and commitment kept the team motivated and united, reminding us that true success lies not only in winning but in the courage to serve, learn, and grow together as a team.
Joining this year’s competition was a truly unremarkable experience, we humbly accept this experience as a valuable opportunity for learning, growth, and improvement. It has strengthened our resolve to further enhance our skills, discipline, and teamwork in fire response and disaster preparedness. Rest assured that we will continue to train diligently and strive to perform better in the coming years, with the hope of returning stronger in the next Fire Olympics.
