‼️RECRUITMENT ALERT‼️

The BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO is officially opening its doors to new volunteers. We are seeking committed, brave, and dedicated individuals who are ready to serve the community and make a difference where it truly counts.

Whether it's saving lives, offering support, or being a beacon of hope in critical moments, you can be the one who makes a real impact.

Qualifications must be:
✔️ Preferably 18 years old and above (out of school youth is encouraged)
✔️ Resident of Barangay Catalunan Pequeño
✔️ Physically fit to undergo training
✔️ Possess Spirit of Volunteerism
✔️ Willing to listen, to train, and obey.

If you're interested, submit your Bio Data at Barangay Catalunan Pequeño Hall and look for any responder or ask for our radio room.

To our valued community,

We would like to inform everyone that our Fire Truck is currently under CODE BLACK and is temporarily unavailable for emergency response operations. This status is due to necessary inspection, maintenance, and readiness checks to ensure that the unit remains safe and fully operational for future emergencies.

While the fire truck is undergoing assessment, it will not be deployed for response. Rest assured that alternative response arrangements, including the Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) and coordination with other concerned units, are in place to continue providing assistance and emergency support to the community.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause and kindly ask for your understanding as we prioritize the safety, preparedness, and reliability of our emergency services.

The BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO together with BFP TALOMO and BFP MINTAL altogether suppressed the reported 10-70, Grass on Fire at Purok 10, Sitio Walog, Barangay Catalunan Pequeño, Davao City.

The fire was reported around 12:55 PM by a walk-in concerned citizen and it was declared fire out at exactly 1:19 PM by BFP MINTAL.

Yesterday, March 23, 2026, the BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO together with BDRRMC MINTAL, BFP TALOMO, BFP MINTAL, and CENTRAL 911 FAS altogether suppressed the reported 10-70, Structure on Fire at Catalunan Pequeño National High School, Barangay Catalunan Pequeño, Davao City.

The fire was reported around 11 AM and was declared fire out at 1PM by BFP. The fire deface 2 story classroom, totally damage and a Chapel, partially damage. The cause of fire was still unknown, while students are all accounted for.

The BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO spearheaded by its committee head, Honorable Kagawad Rene T. Generalao, extends its deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude to all individuals and institutions who supported and made possible our participation in the Davao City Fire District Fire Olympics 2026 held on March 14, 2026.

We would like to recognize the invaluable support of the Barangay Council of Catalunan Pequeno, spearheaded by Honorable Barangay Captain Rodrigo A. Tangaro together with his Kagawads, Honorable Marie Chelle Baguilod, Honorable Kimwel Abella Cortez, Honorable Inday Tangaro Ladesma, Honorable Kagawad Rene T. Generalao, and Honorable Nicolas T. Nabasca, whose encouragement and assistance greatly contributed to our team’s preparation and participation in this meaningful event.

Our heartfelt thanks are also extended to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Mintal Fire Station, especially to Mr.Gimuel Ronquillo, for the guidance and support provided to our responders throughout this activity. Your commitment to strengthening fire response capabilities continues to inspire volunteer responders within our communities.

We likewise express our gratitude to the Barangay Mintal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee for their cooperation and support which helped us represent our barangay in this important gathering of emergency responders.

Our sincere appreciation is also extended to SafetyPro Rescuefor serving as one of our major sponsors, to Lyceum of the Philippines University for generously providing the venue, and to the Davao City Fire District for successfully hosting this remarkable event that promotes preparedness, teamwork, and excellence among fire responders and volunteers.

To our lovely community,

This is to inform everyone that our Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) is currently on CODE BLACK and temporarily unavailable for service. This status is due to necessary assessment, maintenance, and readiness checks to ensure the safety of both patients and responders.

During this period, the Patient Transport Vehicle will not be available for transport operations. However, alternative arrangements such as our firetruck and bravo and coordination with concerned units are in place to ensure continued response and assistance to those in need.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and humbly ask for your understanding as we prioritize safety, preparedness, and reliable service for the community.

As we welcome the New Year, the BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO extends its warmest greetings to everyone in the community. The holidays are a time for celebration, reflection, and togetherness, but they also remind us to remain cautious and responsible. We encourage everyone to celebrate safely by being mindful of fire hazards, avoiding the use of illegal fireworks, staying alert on the roads, and looking after children, elders, and persons with disabilities.

The past year has shown us that preparedness, cooperation, and compassion are essential in keeping our community safe. As we move forward into the new year, let us continue to strengthen our culture of readiness, not only during emergencies but also in our everyday actions. Safety is a shared responsibility, and simple acts of caution can prevent accidents and protect lives.

May the coming year bring renewed hope, resilience, and unity to our barangay. The BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO will remain committed to serving, responding, and working hand in hand with the community for a safer and more prepared future.
