The Department of Health (DOH) officially welcomes back Dr. Teodoro “Ted” Herbosa, former Undersecretary of Health and National Task Force (NTF) for COVID-19 Adviser, as the new Secretary of Health under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

During his previous tenure as Undersecretary of Health from 2010 to 2015, Dr. Herbosa played a vital role in several initiatives, including the Hospital Accreditation Commission, the Modernization of the Philippine Orthopedics Center, and the promotion of Public-Private Partnerships in Health.
