I am currently integrating Acupuncture into palliative care, focusing on patients undergoing cancer treatment and those in advanced stages of illness. Acupuncture, as part of integrative oncology, has been increasingly recognized for its role in improving quality of life, managing symptoms, and supporting emotional well-being.

Research has shown that acupuncture may help alleviate cancer-related pain, chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, fatigue, anxiety, hot flashes, neuropathy, and sleep disturbances. By regulating the nervous system, enhancing circulation, and promoting the body’s natural healing response, acupuncture offers a non-pharmacological complement to conventional oncology treatments.

Beyond physical relief, my practice also emphasizes the psychological and emotional benefits of acupuncture in palliative care — creating space for calm, reducing distress, and supporting patients in maintaining dignity and resilience during their healing journey.

In essence, acupuncture serves not only as symptom relief but as a holistic bridge between body, mind, and spirit — giving patients and their families a sense of comfort, empowerment, and compassionate care alongside standard medical approaches.
