Dear Valued Customers with PWD IDs,

In compliance with the Philippine government's mandate to provide a 20% discount to Persons with Disabilities, we are implementing a verification process to ensure the authenticity of PWD identification cards. This procedure is necessary to combat the increasing prevalence of fraudulent PWD IDs and to ensure that the intended benefits reach legitimate beneficiaries.

Verification Process:

Prior to granting the 20% discount, our staff will verify the validity of your PWD ID through the Department of Health (DOH) online verification system. Specifically, we will use the following link:

This database contains the records of registered and valid PWD IDs issued by authorized government entities.
Discount Eligibility:

* Valid ID Verification: If your PWD ID is successfully verified through the DOH website, you will receive the mandated 20% discount on applicable products or services.

* ID Not Found/Verification Failure: If your PWD ID cannot be verified through the DOH website, we regret to inform you that we will be unable to provide the discount.

Rationale:

The implementation of this verification process is a direct response to the escalating issue of counterfeit PWD IDs. These fraudulent IDs undermine the purpose of the government's program and deprive genuine PWDs of their rightful benefits. By verifying the IDs, we aim to:

* Protect the integrity of the PWD discount program.

* Ensure that the benefits are exclusively availed by legitimate PWD ID holders.

* Prevent the loss of revenue due to fraudulent claims.

* Support the government's effort to fight fraud.
