PH565 Light and Life Student Center

PH565 Light and Life Student Center Church ministry Compassion began in the heart of one man moved by Korean War orphans in 1952. He knew he had to do something.

Reverend Everett Swanson was on a successful preaching tour in South Korea when he encountered the bitter poverty of Korea's unwanted children. Upon his return to the United States, Everett established a program that allowed caring people to provide food, shelter, education, medical care and Christian training for Korean orphans. That program was, and remains, the foundation and core of Compassion International. Today, Compassion helps more than 1 million children in 26 countries.

LOOK | Compassion International held an Almuni Dinner Gathering at Dusit Thani Resort. 2 Sponsored Children from PH 0565 Light and Life Student Center, Danica and Iris were invited and part of the program. We saw how they grow with the love of the Lord, and the fruit of Compassion’s support.
