Good day, HCDC Community!

The Medical-Dental Clinic and NSTP Program in Partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Davao City Chapter will conduct a Blood Letting Activity on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at rooms MH201-204. Registration Area is at MH201 Classroom.

Qualifications and Important Reminders for Donors:
1. Your weight must be at least 50kg.
2. You have normal blood pressure or if Hypertensive, has taken maintenance medication and BP is controlled during the blood letting day.
3. You have normal hemoglobin count. If you don’t know your hemoglobin count, don’t worry because a screening test will be done.
4. You must have had at least 8 hours of sleep the night before the blood letting.
5. You must be well with no flu-like illness, fever, colds and cough.
6. You must avoid alcoholic beverages and liquor drinks a night before the blood letting.
7. If you have a tattoo, it must be at least one year.
8. If you have previously donated blood, at least minimum of three (3) months period has lapsed.
9. Eat Full meal before donating.

Mpox, Chickenpox, and HFMD (Hand, Foot, and Mouth Diseases) have their distinct characteristics. Mpox and chickenpox can appear anywhere on the body. However, Mpox often has a more localized rash on the face and extremities, while HFMD primarily affects the hands, feet, and mouth.
