A little late, but definitely worth sharing—
our recent participation in the Gaisano Pet Central Pet Fair right after the Holy Week was nothing short of meaningful. With Celestial Animal Clinic as sponsor and K9 Veterinary Services as our distribution arm, we were honored to be part of an event that served over 300 dogs and cats through rabies vaccination and deworming. More than the numbers, it was truly heartwarming to witness Davaoeños stepping up as responsible and compassionate pet owners.

🐈🐈‍⬛🐾Routine Check , Peace of Mind 🐈‍⬛😽❤️

Three adorable feline patients came in today and their owner requested CBC and fecalysis to ensure all are in good health, especially with concerns about possible amoebiasis following a previous confinement of one cat.
Two cats showed normal findings and are doing well
• One cat presented with a low white blood cell count, which we will continue to monitor closely .
• One cat is expecting!🐈‍⬛🐈❤️
And confirmed via ultrasound. This visit is a beautiful reminder that early screening, vigilance, and responsible pet ownership goes a long way in keeping our pets safe and thriving.

—Pyometra , a serious uterine infection commonly seen in unspayed dogs.

Many open pyometra cases appear temporarily stable, which sometimes leads owners to delay and postpone surgical intervention while undergoing medical treatment . The uterus is open and purulent / bloody discharges with foul odor continues to drain out of the v***a but uterus is still diseased and infections with complications can still develop. In chronic cases, the uterus may be very thin and fragile , increasing the risk of rupture during manipulation. Surgical treatment remains the most definitive and life-saving management for this condition.
This case reminds us of the importance of early veterinary consultation and timely treatment, as uterine infections can progress and become life-threatening if left untreated.

We remain committed to educating pet owners and providing compassionate care to ensure the best possible outcome for our patients.🥰
