: Nearing deployment of 1,000 units: DOST hopes RxBox to be commercially available soon

With the success of the initial deployment, a succeeding project was drafted initially titled, “Roll-Out of 1000 RxBox Telehealth Devices in Selected Rural Health Centers in the Philippines” which aims to deploy 1,000 units of RxBox to selected rural health centers in the country. The Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) funded the project with DOST-CALABARZON tasked as the lead implementing agency of the said project.

Through the RxBox 1000 (“Roll-out of 1,000 Telehealth Devices in Healthcare Facilities in the Philippines”), the DOST through its Regional Offices has been deploying the device to different healthcare facilities in the country.

𝐴𝑙𝑎𝑚 𝑛𝑦𝑜 𝑏𝑎 𝑛𝑎 merong 6-in-1 Telehealth Device na handog ng Department of Science and Technology na naglalayon magkaroon ng mas madaling access ang mga nasa Geographically Isolated and Disadvantage Areas (GIDAs)’ sa serbisyong pang medical at tinatawag na 𝗥𝘅𝗕𝗼𝘅.

Makakasama mula DOST Region III, 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙅𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙉. 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙𝙖, Project Assistant II, at mga beneficiaries ng RxBox mula sa Rural Health Unit (RHU) ng Munisipyo ng Victoria, Tarlac at Mariveles District Hospital upang ibahagi ang kanilang mga karanasan sa paggamit ng Rxbox at mga benipisyo nito.

Tutukan ang programang 𝑨𝒚𝒐𝒔 𝒏𝒂 𝑨𝒚𝒐𝒔 𝒔𝒂 𝑫𝑶𝑺𝑻 bukas, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 9, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑, 𝟏𝟎𝘼𝙈 sa DWFA 107.3 FM 𝒂𝒕 DOST-Central Luzon 𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒆.
