From clot to complete reperfusion in a single pass.

A technically successful endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) achieving eTICI 3 (complete reperfusion) on the first pass—followed by early neurological improvement after the procedure.

This is what timely stroke care looks like:
🔹 Rapid diagnosis
🔹 Seamless multidisciplinary coordination
🔹 Precision endovascular therapy

For selected hepatocellular carcinoma patients, TACE delivers chemotherapy directly to the tumor while blocking its blood supply—helping control disease, prolong life, and bridge to transplant.

Early referral matters. Ask about interventional options.

A few hours can change everything.

From sudden neurologic deficit to restored cerebral blood flow—this patient with a large left internal carotid artery occlusion underwent successful endovascular treatment, now showing early signs of recovery.

But this is more than a procedure—it’s a story of coordination, urgency, and trust across teams:

Emergency Medicine for rapid triage
Diagnostic Imaging for immediate answers
Neurology & Adult Medicine for clinical guidance
Vascular & Interventional Radiology and Anesthesiology for endovascular treatment
Angio Suite staff who make it all happen

Because in stroke care, time is brain—and teamwork saves both.

Another step forward for minimally invasive vascular care.

This patient presented with extensive iliofemoral deep venous thrombosis, later found to be secondary to undiagnosed May-Thurner syndrome. Through endovascular treatment — mechanical thrombectomy, venoplasty, and iliac vein stenting — venous outflow was successfully restored.

A reminder that some cases of DVT are not just about clot removal, but also about identifying and correcting the underlying anatomic cause.

Minimally invasive solutions for complex vascular disease.

An enriching day of learning and collaboration with Dr. Wickly Lee, Senior Consultant Neuroradiologist at the National Neuroscience Institute (Singapore), and Dr. Francis Angelo D. Basilio, together with the Adult Neurology Section.

Insightful discussions, hands-on learning, and shared commitment to improving thrombectomy outcomes in our region.

Building systems. Strengthening teams. Raising standards.

Patients presented with progressive proptosis, chemosis, orbital bruit, and visual discomfort — classic signs of a carotid–cavernous fistula (CCF).

After endovascular embolization, the change was remarkable and almost immediate:
✔️ Decreased orbital congestion
✔️ Reduction of proptosis
✔️ Improved ocular comfort
✔️ Restoration of physiologic venous drainage

Carotid–cavernous fistula is an abnormal communication between the carotid arterial system and the cavernous sinus, leading to high-flow venous hypertension in the orbit. Left untreated, it can threaten vision.

Through minimally invasive image-guided therapy, we were able to close the fistulous connection and rapidly reverse the venous congestion — a powerful reminder of what targeted endovascular intervention can achieve.

Small access. Big impact.

Successful endovascular revascularization for acute–subacute limb ischemia

A patient presenting with a 2-week history of progressive claudication, swelling, and discoloration of the right lower limb underwent timely endovascular intervention.

The procedure included:
• Mechanical thrombectomy
• Plain balloon angioplasty
• Stenting with balloon-mounted and drug-eluting stents

Post-treatment angiograms demonstrated restoration of blood flow across the superficial femoral, popliteal, anterior tibial, tibioperoneal, posterior tibial, dorsalis pedis, and plantar arteries.

A good reminder of how minimally invasive, image-guided therapy can make a meaningful difference in limb salvage and patient outcomes—when done on time, by the right team.

Quiet wins, grateful hearts. 🙂

After a long night managing an emergency embolization for advanced traumatic splenic injury, we started the day early with a scheduled transarterial embolization of a large ruptured renal angiomyolipoma.

Tired, but thankful.
