I’ve seen a viral post claiming that any blood pressure below 120/80 mmHg means you’re already anemic. That’s a misconception we need to clear up right away. 𝑳𝒐𝒘 𝒃𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒂 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒘𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, and you can’t self-diagnose anemia based on your BP cuff reading alone.

𝑼𝒏𝒔𝒂𝒚 𝒌𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒂𝒏?
1. 𝑩𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 (𝑩𝑷) makuha na sya gamit ang BP apparatus. Ang optimal adult reading is around 120/80 mmHg. If ubos, kintahay 90/60, basin ubos ra imong resting BP. Dili na sya anemia or anemic.

2. 𝑨𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒂 mahitabo kung ubos ang hemoglobin (p**a nga dugo) pinaagi sa pagkuha sa CBC. Ang normal nga hemoglobin range kay 13–17 g/dL para sa lalaki, ug 12–15 g/dL para sa babae. Kung anemic ka, makabati ka og kakapoy, kutasan mag lakaw, ug pale tan-awon.

Bisan pa man ang imong BP kay 120/80 paubos o 90/60, dili pasabot nga anemic na ka. Siguroha kanunay ang sakto nga laboratory tests ug professional evaluation para sa sakto nga diagnosis.

𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞:
Regardless of your BP, it doesn’t tell you anything about your hemoglobin level. You can't diagnose anemia based on BP. Always consult your doctor! Dili mag tuo-tuo sa silingan.
