“Gallstones: When to Worry and When Surgery is Needed”

💢 Mga Sanhi o Risk Factors:
🔹 Chronic Hepatitis B o C
🔹 Cirrhosis (pagtigas o pagkasira ng atay)
🔹 Fatty liver (madalas sa overweight/obese)
🔹 Labis na pag-inom ng alak
🔹 Pagkain ng kontaminadong pagkain (aflatoxin)

– Paninilaw ng balat at mata (jaundice)

Another case of gallbladder cancer in a young patient.

In just two months, we’ve encountered yet another case of gallbladder cancer—this time in a 34-year-old female. Gallbladder malignancy remains a rare but aggressive disease, and its presence in younger patients highlights the need for continued awareness and early evaluation.

🛠️ Surgery performed: Radical cholecystectomy
📡 Intraoperative ultrasound used for assessment
🧪 Frozen section: Adenocarcinoma confirmed
✅ Margins: All negative

Early detection, appropriate surgical planning, and use of intraoperative adjuncts remain key to achieving curative outcomes.

55 yo ColoRectal Liver metastasis (CRLM) patient, after conversion chemotherapy underwent combined Resection (4 tumors) + Ablation using Emprint Microwave ablation (8 tumors ablated) >>>> discharge after 5 days.
