🌞 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 | 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦

Last March 14, 2026, Horizon Psychological and Testing Center Inc. was invited by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Davao Buhangin Stake Updates) to facilitate Mental Health: Thinking Helpful Thoughts for over 100 teenagers.

Our Associate Psychologist, Spencer Valencia, led the session, exploring how our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors—and how we can begin to examine whether our thoughts are helpful, accurate, or not.

It was meaningful to see participants engage in the discussion, with many sharing that the activity helped them become more aware of their thoughts and emotions, and more empathetic toward their peers.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of conversations like these.

𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻, 𝗥𝗣𝘀𝘆, 𝗖𝗦𝗔𝗣, 𝗠𝗕𝗔-𝗜𝗕 is the Senior Psychologist and Clinical Director. She works with adolescents and adults, providing goal-focused, supportive psychotherapy to help clients navigate anxiety and mood concerns.

𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮, 𝗥𝗣𝘀𝘆, 𝗥𝗣𝗠 is the Associate Psychologist. He works with adolescents and young adults, guiding them through stress, anxiety, and depression with evidence-based, client-centered psychotherapy.
