A trailblazer in Vascular Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Adult Cardiology, Dr. Reagan F. Cabahug brings over two decades of expertise, leadership, and innovation to the forefront of cardiovascular care.
He honed his skills at the prestigious HB Calleja Heart and Vascular Institute, and in 2019, he earned an Executive MSc in Health Economics, Outcomes, and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences from the London School of Economics, in collaboration with the European Society of Cardiology and the European Heart Academy—of which he is now a proud alumnus.
🎓 With this international training, Dr. Cabahug is passionate about helping shape the future of Philippine healthcare, especially as the country moves toward Universal Health Care (UHC).
💙 His Mission:
To save lives—and limbs—by offering personalized, holistic care that empowers both patients and families. As a vascular specialist, his goal is to prevent amputations, venous ulcers, and strokes through early detection and tailored interventions.
👨⚕️ His Legacy as a Mentor:
Dr. Cabahug has dedicated nearly three decades to teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians. He served as Training Officer and later Chairman of the Department of Medicine at San Pedro Hospital, and has been a Clinical Professor at the Davao Medical School Foundation for the past 24 years. He now also plays a vital role in training future cardiologists at the Mindanao Heart Center.
