DOH: NO LOCKDOWN NEEDED

The Department of Health (DOH) warned the public against fake Facebook posts claiming a lockdown due to mpox.

DOH said no lockdown is needed as mpox is not airborne, and only the less severe Clade II strain has been found in the Philippines.

DOH continues to work with LGUs to manage cases and urged the public to follow official channels for accurate health updates.
