💕 Vaccination is important for your kids and even to us adults.

The 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄 2026 presents recommended vaccines for children and adolescents based on updated literature reviews,
𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 ⬇️

Please note that while MOST of the vaccines are given for FREE from 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 as part of the government's NIP (National Immunization Program), they are 𝙣𝙤𝙩 necessarily 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚 as you probably assumed they were.
ALL ROUTINE VACCINES enlisted below SHOULD BE GIVEN and COMPLETED WITHOUT FAIL, in order to provide utmost protection against these vaccine-preventable diseases.
Do not just panic and decide late on vaccination just as when it trends on the news.

👶🏻6 w̲e̲e̲k̲s̲ o̲l̲d̲ ➡️ 10 w̲e̲e̲k̲s̲ o̲l̲d̲ ➡️ 14 w̲e̲e̲k̲s̲ o̲l̲d̲
The following vaccines are strictly given as 3-dose series:
▪️𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼- Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus (DPT), Hib, Hep B + Oral Polio (OPV) - from health centers
o̲r̲ 𝙃𝙀𝙓𝘼 (DPT, Hib, Hep B, Injectable Polio) -from private clinics
▪️𝙋𝘾𝙑 20- protects against Pneumonia, Sepsis, Meningitis & Otitis Media
▪️𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘼 virus- protect against diarrhea commonly caused by Rotavirus
👶🏻 6 m̲o̲n̲t̲h̲s̲ o̲l̲d̲
▪️𝙁𝙡𝙪 vaccination given as 2-doses (1 month apart) for 1st time recipients then 1 dose every year.
👶🏻 9 m̲o̲n̲t̲h̲s̲ o̲l̲d̲
▪️𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙨 vaccine
▪️𝙅𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙨 Japanese Encephalitis given as 2 doses (1 year apart) then once every 2 years
👧🏻 1 y̲e̲a̲r̲ o̲l̲d̲
▪️𝙈𝙈𝙍 1st dose(Mumps, Measles, Rubella)
▪️𝙑𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 1st dose (Chicken Pox or “bulutong”)
▪️ 𝙃𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙨 𝘼 x 2 doses (6 months apart)
▪️ 𝙋𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖 or 𝙃𝙚𝙭𝙖 4th dose (𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧)
▪️ 𝙋𝘾𝙑 4th dose (𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧)
👧🏻 Quad Flu vaccine e̲v̲e̲r̲y̲ y̲e̲a̲r̲
👧🏻 2 y̲e̲a̲r̲s̲ o̲l̲d̲
▪️𝙏𝙮𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙙 vaccine every 2 years
▪️𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 pre-exposure prophylaxis, given as 3 doses (day 0, 7, 21)
👧🏻 4 y̲e̲a̲r̲s̲ o̲l̲d̲
▪️ 𝙑𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 2nd dose (or can be given 6 mos after the 1st dose)
▪️ 𝘿𝙏𝙖𝙋 booster
▪️Polio (𝙄𝙋𝙑) booster
▪️𝙈𝙈𝙍 #2 (𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧)
▪️𝙃𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙨 𝘼 (if 2nd dose was not given before)
👧🏻9 y̲e̲a̲r̲s̲ o̲l̲d̲
▪️ HPV vaccine (for prevention of cervical cancer, ge***al warts & other precancerous growths)
✈️ f̲o̲r̲ T̲R̲A̲V̲E̲L̲E̲R̲S̲ or resident of hyperendemic or epidemic areas and h̲i̲g̲h̲-r̲i̲s̲k̲ groups
▪️𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙘𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙑𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙚- 2 doses given 2 months apart + booster after a year (may be given as early as 2 months old)

Vaccination is a safe and scientifically proven way of fighting deadly and infectious diseases. It is the most basic intervention we can give to ensure they grow as healthy adults of the future.
