𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐚!

A mother, a teacher, and a friend—you wear many hats with so much grace and love. Your patience, compassion, and strength shine through in every role you take, touching the lives of your family, your students, and the people around you. You make a difference not just by teaching lessons in the classroom, but by showing what it truly means to care and to give wholeheartedly.

On your special day, may you be reminded of how deeply you are appreciated and loved. May the joy and warmth you share with others come back to you a hundredfold. Wishing you more blessings, good health, and countless beautiful moments to treasure this year and always. 💐✨

🌱 Gentle Parenting: Clearing the Myths 🌱

❌ Myth: Gentle parenting means you don’t reprimand your child when they make a mistake.
💡 Fact: Not correcting at all is permissive parenting.

❌ Myth: Gentle parenting allows scolding, punishment, or venting anger.
💡 Fact: That’s authoritarian parenting.

✨ In gentle parenting, mistakes are addressed calmly but firmly. Parents set clear boundaries, acknowledge feelings, and guide children toward better choices—without scaring or hurting them. 💕

Because true discipline teaches responsibility while keeping connection and respect intact. 🌸

📣 In celebration of Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga 2025, Growth Point will be closing early today at 4:00 PM.

This observance, held every 4th Monday of September, reminds us of the importance of spending quality time with our families.

We value the well-being of our teachers, staff, and learners, and we believe that nurturing strong family bonds is essential for both mental health and growth. 💙

May we all take this opportunity to share a meaningful meal and create lasting memories with our loved ones. 🍽👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Today’s lesson is Fast not Frenzy like Sally! Frenzy is when we rush in a messy and careless way. But Sally reminds us that it’s okay to move quickly, as long as we’re cautious and careful—just like when we walk quickly to line up without bumping into our friends. We can be like Sally! We are Super Amazing!

✨ Another meaningful night with the Child Center for Learning and Development and Growth Point teachers!

On September 19, 2025, we held our First Quarter Meeting at Growth Point to reflect on our learners’ progress. We discussed their present levels of performance, curriculum placement, progress tracking, and the accommodations and modifications needed to further support their growth.

Soon, we will also be holding a Parent-Teacher Conference—an opportunity to strengthen our partnership as one village working together for our learners.

Every step forward is a step closer to advocating and building an inclusive path for our SNED learners. 🌱💡

🌱 What Your Child’s Gut Health Says About Their Growth

Did you know your child’s gut is like their “second brain”? A healthy microbiome doesn’t just support digestion—it plays a big role in their immunity, mood, focus, and overall development.

✨ When their gut is healthy, you’ll notice:
Smooth digestion, less tummy trouble
Stronger immune defenses
Better sleep and calmer mood
Improved focus and energy for learning and play

⚠️ When their gut is out of balance, it may show as:
Frequent colds or infections
Bloating, constipation, or diarrhea
Food sensitivities or skin issues
Irritability, low energy, or trouble concentrating

💡 How to support their growing gut:
Probiotics: Good bacteria that keep balance (found in yogurt, kefir, kimchi, or supplements).
Prebiotics: Fibers that feed those good bacteria (bananas, oats, onions, garlic).
Postbiotics: Compounds probiotics make that strengthen the gut and immune system.

👉 After antibiotics, children especially need help rebuilding their gut health with probiotics + prebiotic-rich foods.

✅ A strong gut means more than a happy tummy—it helps your child grow, learn, and thrive. Nourish their microbiome, and you’re supporting their whole development.

💡Screens are part of everyday life, but too much can affect a child’s learning, emotions, sleep, and even social skills. The goal isn’t to take screens away completely, but to guide kids toward healthy and balanced use.

As parents, the best way to teach is by example. When we manage our own screen time, our children naturally follow. Let’s swap extra screen hours with play, stories, and family time—small changes that can make a big difference in their growth. 🫂🏠🥰

📝 Last September 3 and 4, Teacher Roro and Teacher Han attended the 25th Biennial Convention of the Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at SPACE, One Ayala. The event celebrated “Woven in Silver: Trailblazing 25 Years in Developmental Pediatrics.” Just like threads woven together, the convention brought valuable knowledge, updates, and connections that will strengthen our practice for the children we serve.

With a growth mindset and our commitment to lifelong learning, we will continue to relearn, unlearn, and learn for the improvement of our therapy services. Always learning, always serving—para sa bata.
