LOOK | A Strong Commitment to Quality Healthcare!

Under the proactive leadership of our Municipal Health Officer, Dra. Normallah M. Dimalotang-Alonto, our Rural Health Unit is undergoing a remarkable transformation to provide more efficient, comfortable, and accessible healthcare services for our community!

Here’s what’s completed:

✅ Beautification and upgrading of RHU and BHS facilities
✅ Purchase of new medical equipment and storage cabinets
✅ RHU Signage
✅ Purchase of additional chairs and tables for staff, patients and RHU activities
✅ Covering an open space to create a functional space for consultations and other health activities
✅ Concreting of floors and tiling of the RHU stage
✅ Establishing a dedicated family planning corner/room
✅ Installation of solar power to support sustainable energy use
✅ Installation of Starlink for reliable, high-speed internet connectivity
✅ Purchase of additional Laptop for each BHS for reporting, records and other health programs.
✅ Purchase of Cellular phone for RHU documentation and official RHU contact number.

These improvements are more than just physical upgrades—they reflect Dra. Alonto’s deep commitment to strengthening local healthcare services and creating a more responsive health environment for all.

BABALA UKOL SA MONKEYPOX (Mpox)

Ang Integrated Provincial Health Office of Lanao Del Sur sa ilalim ng pamunuan ng Ministry of Health - BARMM ay naglalabas ng abisong ito matapos makumpirma ang mga kaso ng Monkeypox (Mpox) sa mga lugar na nasasakupan ng BARMM. Ang Monkeypox ay isang viral infection na bihira ngunit maaaring magdulot ng seryosong epekto sa kalusugan. Karamihan sa mga kaso ay banayad, subalit posible itong magdulot ng matinding sintomas at komplikasyon.

Kasalukuyang Kalagayan:
Wala pang naitalang kaso sa ating Probinsya (Provincial Government of Lanao Del Sur)

Pinapayuhan po namin ang komunidad na sundin ang minimum health standard protocol kapag pupunta sa anumang pasilidad pangkalusugan, kabilang na ang aming Rural Health Unit.

Paano Nakakahawa?
> Malapit na direktang kontak sa balat ng may impeksyon
> Paglanghap ng droplets mula sa matagal na close contact
> Pagkakahawak sa mga bagay na kontaminado (hal. kumot, damit)

Sintomas na Dapat Bantayan

Karaniwang lumalabas ang sintomas sa loob ng 5 hanggang 21 araw matapos ang pagkakahawa:
>Lagnat
>Pananakit ng ulo
>Namamagang kulani
>Pananakit ng kalamnan
>Pantal o rashes na nagiging sugat (madalas sa mukha, kamay, paa, at ari)
>Panlalata o panginginig

LOOK | Barimbingan BHS Consultation (May|29|2025)

Our committed Rural Health Physician Dra. Normallah M. Dimalotang-Alonto, CFP recently conducted consultations at the Barangay Health Station under the Barimbingan Cluster. During her visit, she guided our Rural Health Midwife Ma'am Annaliza and our Public Health Nurse Ma'am Ains through a safe and successful delivery, provided essential postpartum education to a new mother, and emphasized the importance and benefits breastfeeding for both mother and baby. She also provided medical consultations to other patients. Thanks also to Ma'am Noronsalam for attending a pregnant woman for Prenatal checkup, to our Active BHWs Ma'am Naima and Ma'am Ashley for their support to our Staff and to our MHO.

MIDYEAR REFRESH/TEAM BUILDING 2025

The DITSAAN RAMAIN RHU TEAM under the initiative of our MHO Dra. Normallah D. Alonto, recently participated in a two-day team-building retreat aimed at enhancing collaboration, communication, and camaraderie among staff members under Held at Nadin Resort and Restaurant, the event featured a series of activities designed to foster teamwork and reinforce our shared commitment to providing quality healthcare to our community.

Highlights of the retreat included:

>Interactive Workshops: Sessions focused on effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
>Team Challenges: Engaging exercises that encouraged collaboration and trust-building among team members.
>Reflection Circles: Opportunities for staff to share experiences and insights, strengthening our collective mission.

MAY 13-16 2025 | 🤰🏼SAFE MOTHERHOOD WEEK 🤰🏼

The DITSAAN RAMAIN RHU TEAM under the leadership of Dra. Normallah Dimalotang Alonto joins the SAFE MOTHERHOOD WEEK 2025 with a theme: “KALIDAD NA PANGANGALAGA SA INA, KALUSOGAN NG SANGGOL MAY GARANTIYA.” Lectures and Advocacies were done to the constituents of the municipality.

The second week of May is observed as Safe Motherhood Week in the Philippines. This week focuses on raising awareness about maternal health issues, including the alarming rise in teenage pregnancies.

The National Safe Motherhood Program (NSMP) in the Philippines is a government initiative aimed at ensuring the health and safety of mothers throughout their pregnancy and childbirth. Implemented by the Department of Health (DOH), the program focuses on providing quality healthcare services to Filipino women, including adolescents, and addressing unmet family planning needs.

The Ditsaan Ramain Rural Health Unit under the helm of Dra. Normallah Dimalotang Alonto participated in the conduct of National and Local Elections 2025 through the installation of Emergency Health Post in different Polling Precinct in the Municipality.

While voters cast their ballots and democracy was in motion, our dedicated Medical Team stood strong, ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved.
From providing first aid to managing emergency protocols, their presence brought peace of mind to all. Your professionalism, compassion, and readiness made all the difference. Thank you for being the silent guardians of this successful election.
