Matapang na sinabi ni DOH Sec. Ted Herbosa na tinututulan ng DOH ang talamak na paglaganap ng sigarilyo at v**e mula sa industriya ng to***co na nagtutulak sa mga Pilipinong magkasakit at mamatay. Ilan sa mga hakbang na kaniyang binanggit na tututukan ng ahensya ay:

✅Pagsulong ng edukasyon at polisiya para ma-ban ang v**e sa Pilipinas
✅Pagrekomenda na gawing pare-parehong plain ang packaging ng mga sigarilyo
✅Pagsulong na manatili ang Sin Tax na epektibong paraan para mapababa ang demand ng sigarilyo
✅Palawakin ang PhilHealth Benefit Package para sa smoking cessation
✅Pagpapaigting sa surveillance at parusa sa mga nagbebenta ng sigarilyo at v**e sa mga bata gamit ang online platforms

Sinangayunan din ni Sec. Ted ang rekomendasyon ng grupong Health Justice na palakasin ang regulasyon ng FDA sa sigarilyo na may kinalaman sa aspeto ng kalusugan.

Foundation Health Services in partnership with Rural Health Unit of Sibulan, Philippine Red Cross Negros Oriental Chapter, Philippine Red Cross Youth Negros Oriental Chapter and DOH conducted a Blood Donation Drive to help save lives.

Big thanks to FU OSL headed by Ma'am Miraflor, FU ROTC/FU College of Criminology headed by Ma'am Jade, sir Joseph and company, sie Christian from the Creative Department, student assistants, FPA RCY volunteers, FU RCY volunteers and most of all, to all those who donated blood.

Many thanks as well to RHU Sibulan for reaching out and for the 5kilos of rice given to each of our donors and volunteers. Also, Philippine Red Cross Negros Oriental Chapter headed Ma'am Michelle Maquiling, thank you very much.

Thank you as well to the IPHO representatives.
