Another informative and inspirational real life story of a known actress who has survived breast cancer from Glenda Garcia.

𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚 was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. A year after undergoing treatment, she was blessed to be cancer-free.

She was quoted saying,

2. No risk factors doesn’t mean no cancer. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, most women with breast cancer have no known risk factors. They don’t have a history of the disease in their families either.

3. Drinking several glasses of alcohol a day can up your breast cancer risk.

4. Having a male relative who’s had breast cancer increases your chances.

5. You don’t need to learn how to do a self-exam. It is more important to know your breasts and note any changes that you may notice.

Our objective is to raise awareness on the issue of breast cancer. In order to provide sufficient information on the subject, we will concentrate more on the symptoms and prevention of breast cancer.

Breast cancer is a disease in which cells in the breast grow out of control. It can occur in either one or both breasts in both female and male populations.
