No apical or any Bone Radioluscency upon Peripaical and Panoramic Xray

🦷Treatment :
Probing, Deep Scaling and Root Planing , Routine prophylaxis treatments for the next 12 months, flouride treatments every 3 months, Periapical xrays every 3 months, and observation.

Percentage of recurrence : High with periodontitis and expecting internal resorption and bone involvement Sooner if patient doesn't follow protocols and home care.

That's why routine oral prophylaxis and flouride treatments go a long way especially for us Filipinos.

🦷 A case of Internal Resorption :
Internal resorption is an inflammatory process initiated within the pulp space with loss of 2nd layer of the tooth dentin and possible invasion of the layer of the root of the tooth -cementum.

Tooth resorption may go unnoticed for many years; often the patient is unaware of it because of the lack of symptoms. Pain may be reported if the process is associated with significant pulpal inflammation. The resorption remains as long as vital tissue remains and may result in the communication of inflammation of pulp tissue with the periodontal ligaments around the tooth and the bone inside.

Root Canal treatment with In-Canal walking bleach using Opalescence boost from Ultradent.
