: Please be informed that ONE Rescue EMS will have a temporary suspension of operations on August 25, 2025 (Monday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to conduct an operational meeting and upskilling training for our current Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) volunteers.

This activity aims to enhance our team’s skills, improve coordination, and strengthen our capacity to serve the community more effectively.

Our phone lines will remain open during this period to accommodate inquiries, coordination requests, and dispatch assistance as available.

• August 23 (Saturday): Stop at 8:00 AM, Resume at 1:00 PM
• August 26 (Tuesday): Stop at 5:00 PM, Resume at 3:00 AM
• August 27 (Wednesday): Stop at 12:00 NN, Resume at 8:00 PM
• August 28 (Thursday): Stop at 3:00 PM, Resume at 3:00 AM

: Last August 6–7, 2025, ONE Rescue EMS, the Philippine National Police Dumaguete City Police Station, and the Traffic Management Office convened to discuss and implement collaborative measures for operational and service delivery enhancement. Present during the meeting were PLTCOL Don Richmon T. Conag, Acting Chief of Police of DCPS; PLTC Milan; PO1 Tantay; and Mr. Edhel Jay Martin Caducoy of TMO, together with representatives from ONE Rescue EMS led by Medical Director, Dr. Kenneth T. Coo.

The partnership aims to strengthen coordination and improve public safety services within the city.

: Silliman University Fun Run 2025

Last August 2, 2025, One Rescue EMS provided standby medical coverage during Silliman University's Fun Run 2025 to ensure the health and safety of all runners and participants, who are valued constituents of Silliman University. Our medical team was strategically positioned throughout the event to promptly respond to any emergencies, demonstrating our continued commitment to safeguarding the well-being of the community.

We are honored to support Silliman University in promoting not only sportsmanship and camaraderie but also a culture of safety in every activity.

Please be advised that all personnel of ONE Rescue EMS are volunteers. To ensure proper coordination and preparation, Standby Medic requests should be made well in advance. Requests made on short notice or near the event date may not be accommodated and may be considered denied.

: Basic Life Support and First Aid Training for Titter Tatter Playhouse

ONE Rescue EMS recently conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic First Aid Training for the staff of Titter Tatter Playhouse at Robinsons Mall Dumaguete last July 26, 2025. Headed by our Assistant Training Head: Ms. Shekinah Viajedor, EMR, RN (R103) and Co-Assessment Officer: Mr. Klein Von Guimerey, EMT (R42).

This training was designed to equip caregivers and personnel with essential life-saving skills to ensure the safety and well-being of children in their care. From emergency response to hands-only CPR, management for choking, poisoning, and basic immobilization for common injuries, participants gained vital knowledge and confidence to act swiftly in critical situations.

: Coordination Meeting for Full-Scale Simulation Exercises at Dumaguete City Airport

Last July 25, 2025, ONE Rescue EMS took part in the Coordination Meeting for the upcoming Full-Scale Simulation Exercises, held at the Dumaguete City Airport. The meeting was spearheaded by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and brought together key emergency response stakeholders and support agencies in preparation for a large-scale airport emergency drill.

As part of our commitment to disaster preparedness and multi-agency coordination, ONE Rescue EMS remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that ensure swift, organized, and effective response in times of crisis.

We are proud to contribute to the safety and readiness of our community through active participation in high-level inter-agency planning.

: ONE Rescue EMS Attends Orientation for Accreditation of Civil Society Organizations

Last July 17, 2025, ONE Rescue EMS was honored to participate in the Orientation for Accreditation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) held at the Negros Oriental Provincial Capitol Conference Hall.

Representing the organization was our Medical Director, Dr. Kenneth T. Coo, who joined fellow civil society representatives in this important initiative aimed at fostering collaboration between government and non-government sectors for community development and public service. Also in attendance was Dumaguete City Councilor, Hon. Bernice Anne Aseñas-Elmaco, who expressed her support for strengthened civic engagement and active partnerships.

:🫀 Nationwide CPR Campaign – Amlan, Negros Oriental 🚑

ONE Rescue EMS proudly participated in the Nationwide CPR Campaign held last July 17, 2025 at the Amlan Covered Court, led by our Medical Director Dr. Kenneth T. Coo, who also represented the Philippine Heart Association – Council on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

This life-saving initiative was made possible through the strong collaboration with the Amlan Mayor’s Office, Amlan LDRRMO, Amlan MHO, ACEDDI IM Department, Philippine National Red Cross – Negros Oriental Chapter, Silliman University Medical Center LSITC and PGIs, and the dedicated constituents of Amlan, Negros Oriental.

Together, we continue to spread awareness and empower communities with the knowledge and skills to save lives through CPR.

📍 Silliman University Faculty and Staff Sports Fest – Held last June 20, where our team provided emergency coverage throughout the day of friendly competition and athletic fun.
📍 11th Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) Visayas Regional Conference – A 3-day event held last June 25–27, where our medics remained on standby to respond to any medical concerns during the regional gathering of mechanical engineering professionals.
