ICYMI: 🏥✨ BEYOND WALLS, BEYOND LIMITS—CARE REACHED WHERE IT MATTERED MOST.

The Care Beyond Walls Medical Mission was successfully conducted on April 11, 2026 at the Cauayan City District Jail, bringing compassionate and accessible healthcare services to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). 🤍

Together with volunteer physicians Dr. Rowena Constantino and Dr. Enrico Constantino, alongside 18 medical students from the Isabela State University – Echague Campus, College of Medicine under the Asian Medical Students’ Association – Isabela Student Alliance (AMSA-ISA), the mission delivered thorough medical consultations, physical examinations, health education, and laboratory test requests to further evaluate the health conditions of the PDLs. 🩺📋

💊 Medicines and medical supplies were also distributed to provide at least a month’s supply of essential treatment—not only for the PDLs inside the facility, but also to help support the healthcare needs of their families outside.

More than providing medicines, the mission delivered compassion, dignity, and hope—proving that healthcare should reach every life, even beyond walls. 🌍❤️

Lifeline 2.0 is a simple initiative of the 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐀𝐌𝐒𝐀-𝐈𝐒𝐀), dedicated to promoting wellness within the ISU community this Christmas season.

Through the provision of free medicines and vitamins for ISU staff, this initiative aims to support everyday health needs while reflecting the spirit of care and compassion that defines the holidays.

💚 Lifeline: Bridging Health and Hope 💚

On October 19, 2025, the Asian Medical Students’ Association – Isabela Student Alliance (AMSA-ISA), in collaboration with the University of Perpetual Help System College of Nursing and Midwifery and Adventist Hospital Santiago City, Inc., successfully conducted a medical mission at Research, Minante Uno, Cauayan City, Isabela.

Through this initiative, our team had the privilege of extending free medical consultations, health education, and essential healthcare services to 182 patients from the local community. This initiative truly embodied the spirit of our advocacy — to bridge the gap between health and hope by reaching out to those in need and fostering compassion through service.

Beyond the numbers, Lifeline: Bridging Health and Hope was a day filled with learning, connection, and purpose. It reminded us that healthcare is not only about treatment — it’s also about empathy, understanding, and the simple act of showing up for others.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our collaborating institutions, volunteer healthcare professionals, and dedicated student volunteers who made this mission possible. Your time, effort, and compassion reflect the true essence of service and solidarity.
