🌟 BHW CONVENTION 2025 🌟

Usa ka adlaw nga puno sa kahulugan, pagkat-on, ug pagpasalamat alang sa atong mga Barangay Health Workers (BHWs)β€”ang tinuod nga mga bayani sa komunidad. Ang BHW Convention 2025 usa ka higayon aron maghiusa, magbinayloay og kahibalo, ug palig-onon pa ang atong paningkamot sa paghatag og kalidad nga serbisyong panglawas sa matag barangay.

Pinaagi sa mga diskusyon, capacity development activities, ug fellowship, napalig-on ang atong panag-uban isip usa ka team nga adunay usa ka tumong: ang kahimsog ug kaayohan sa katawhan. Kining kalihukan usa usab ka porma sa pag-ila ug pagpasalamat sa walay kapoy nga serbisyo, dedikasyon, ug kasingkasing nga gihalad sa atong mga BHWs bisan unsang kahimtangan.

Daghang salamat sa tanang nakig-uban ug nitampo sa kalampusan sa maong kalihukanβ€”sa City Health Office, LGU officials, mga partner agencies, ug labaw sa tanan sa atong mga BHWs nga padayon nga nag-alagad uban ang integridad, malasakit, ug gugma sa komunidad.

Hon. Mayor Edgar "Esalig" Lignes has officially received our Sandugo Award and the recognition for our Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) City status.

On behalf of the City Health Office, Dr. Miravel C. Tangcalagan (City Health Officer) and Dr. Adrian Jed Garrett J. Lucero (Assistant City Health Officer) formally presented these awards to our honorable mayor.

The ZOD Certificate was awarded by Doc. Ted Yu (PHO I) and Engr. Jackee Lim (SE).

Held last November 14, 2025

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this activity.

In behalf of our City Health Officer, Dr. Miravel C. Tangcalagan, our Assistant City Health Officer Dr. Adrian Jed Garrett J.Lucero delivered an inspirational message for all Barangay HEPOs, highlighting commitment and shared responsibility for community health.

We also express our sincere gratitude to our guest speaker, Ma’am Marianne CabaΓ±ero (Nurse), for sharing valuable insights on Infectious Diseases such as TB, HIV, and Dengue. Your expertise greatly enriched the discussion.

Special thanks to our Program Coordinator, Mr. Joshua Solomon, for ensuring a smooth and successful event, and for sharing important Information Education Campaign (IECs) about the different health services offered to the community.
