Dr. Elizabeth Paz-Pacheco has served as the EIC for the journal from 2010-2025. She will be succeeded by Dr. Cecilia Jimeno.

The Endocrinology Fellows successfully concluded a Thyroid Biopsy Workshop in collaboration with the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the Department of Pathology

The workshop brought together multidisciplinary expertise, teaching the fellows valuable hands-on experience and fostering a deeper understanding of best practices in thyroid nodule evaluation and biopsy techniques. This collaborative effort marks a significant step toward enhancing diagnostic accuracy and patient care in thyroid disease management.

Our heart felt gratitude to Dr. Nicolas Tan, Dr. Melfred Hernandez and Dr. Dahlia Teresa Argamosa for sharing their expertise!

Earlier today, the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism welcomed Dr. Ting-I Lee and Dr. Shao En-Hung, delegates from Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital. They were received at the PGH Directors's office followed by a short program with our department chair Dr. Evelyn Salido and division chief Dr. Gabriel Jasul Jr., ending with a tour of hospital facilities and key locations such as the radioisotope lab and outpatient department.

The partnership was made possible through the efforts of PGH for which Dr. Ralph Li was one of the representatives during the exchange at Wanfang Hospital last year. Here's to collaboration across countries for advancing endocrinology services and care!

Metabolic syndrome is a pressing public health concern which has several complications and strategies to both prevent and control.

We invite everyone to this year’s Dr. Mary Anne Lim-Abrahan Professorial Chair Lecture on Metabolic Syndrome Among Filipinos and Asians to be delivered by Dr. Gabriel Jasul Jr. with Dr. Mia Fojas as the session’s moderator.

It will be held this September 5, 2025 at Novotel Manila Araneta during the Annual Convention of the Philippine Association for the Study of Overweight and Obesity.
