On this Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2026, Basa Air Base Hospital headed by LTC CHERRY V SISON MC, Acting Commanding Officer and assisted by LTC DULCE ANN C GOTICO NC, Chief Nurse, BABH proudly welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world, a living symbol of love and hope. Each safe delivery reflects the dedication, expertise, and compassion of our medical team, and this birth reminds us of the heart behind our mission.

The successful delivery via Caesarean Section was conducted by Dra. Flerie Gem H. Mayor, Obstetrician-Gynecologist; Dr. Marc Jansen Granda, Anesthesiologist; Dr. Mary Dianne Brooklyn M. Magalong, Pediatrician, and supporting BABH personnel.

More than a celebration of hearts, this day highlights our commitment to nurturing life and supporting families in their most cherished moments.

The miracle of birth is the greatest Valentine’s gift, and we are honored to have been part of it. 💕

Basa Air Base Hospital Joins the Simultaneous Hospital Visit and Gift-Giving

On 28 November 2025, under the leadership of LTC CHERRY V SISON MC, Basa Air Base Hospital proudly participated the Simultaneous Armed Forces of the Philippines Hospital Visit and Gift Giving in connection with the 90th AFP Founding Anniversary with the theme: “Matatag na Sandatahang Lakas, Sandigan ng Bagong Pilipinas," with GENERAL ROMEO S BRAWNER JR PA as the guest of honor via video-teleconferencing (VTC).

The event was graced by the presence of COL MAYNARD P MARIANO PAF (MNSA), the Deputy Wing Commander, 960th Air and Missile Defense Wing (AMDW), COL EMERSON M RIVERA PAF (GSC), Group Commander, 540th Air Base Group and other officers of Basa Air Base.

As part of the commemoration, BABH extended heartfelt gift giving to military personnel currently admitted in the facility, a gesture that reflects the AFP’s enduring commitment to safeguard the health, welfare, and morale of its men and women in uniform.

The Award of Chief of Staff, AFP Commendation Medal and Ribbon was conferred upon selected BABH personnel for their exemplary service and significant contributions to military healthcare, recognizing their dedication to patient care, hospital operations, and mission readiness. The award was presented to LTC CHERRY V SISON MC, CPT ROCHELLE F AGCAOILI MAC, and Sgt John S Mendoza PAF.

This meaningful activity underscores the AFP’s dedication to caring for its personnel, ensuring that those who serve the nation are supported with compassion, solidarity, and honor.

Basa Air Base Hospital Celebrates 71 Years of Service

Basa Air Base Hospital commemorated its 71st Anniversary on 17 November 2025 at the Officer’s Club, Floridablanca, Pampanga. The event honored more than seven decades of military medical service, showcasing key accomplishments and highlighting initiatives that strengthened healthcare delivery and PAF readiness reflecting the hospital’s enduring legacy and its continued journey toward excellence.

The program featured a presentation of the hospital’s major achievements for the year, underscoring the progress made in capability enhancement, healthcare services, and efforts that advanced the overall readiness of the Philippine Air Force Medical Service.

BABH also recognized the exceptional performance and unwavering commitment of its personnel through the following individual awardees:

Where Duty Meets Life: Our Second Victory via C-Section👶🏼🫡

BABH, A PAF Military Treament Facility (MTF) dedicated to serving the uniformed personnel, Civilian Human Resource personnel, and authorized civilians today marked a powerful new mission, the safe delivery of a newborn via caesarean section, our second this year since the revival of maternity care.

What was once an operating room for mission-critical procedures now also supports the beginning of life. This moment stands as a triumph of trust, teamwork, and service beyond the call of duty.

This was made possible through the leadership of LTC CHERRY V SISON MC, Acting Commanding Officer and LTC DULCE ANN C GOTICO NC, Chief Nurse with the full support of COL EMERSON M RIVERA PAF (GSC), Group Commander, 540th Air Base Group.

The successful delivery via Caesarean Section on 19 October 2025, 8:16am, Sunday was conducted by Dra. Flerie Gem H. Mayor, Obstetrician-Gynecologist; Dr. Marc Jansen Granda, Anesthesiologist; CPT LINDY LOU B BACULIO MC, Pediatrician; and BABH Personnel.
