"Can this food worsen my skin condition?"- is a common question I encounter in my practice as a dermatologist.

While certain foods don't have a direct link in causation of skin problems (ie, peanuts and oily foods don't cause acne and chicken does not cause rashes) a good dietary pattern such as a plant based diet can be a complement to overall health.
