Cervical Cancer Prevention Tips

Protect yourself and your loved ones from cervical cancer by following these key prevention steps:

✅ Get Vaccinated – HPV vaccination helps prevent high-risk HPV infections, the leading cause of cervical cancer.
✅ Routine Screening – Women aged 30-65 should get an HPV DNA test every 5 years or a Pap/VIA test every 3 years.
✅ Be Faithful – A mutually monogamous relationship reduces cervical cancer risk.
✅ Avoid To***co Use – Smoking increases cervical cancer risk. Quitting helps lower it.

Stay informed and take action for better health! 💙

Dear Patients,
Your well-being is of utmost importance to me. Rest assured that the best possible care will still be given to you even during this crisis. Please note that this COVID 19 situation is in flux and things from moment to moment. Please stand by for any updates on clinic schedule.
As you notice, the clinic hours posted are shorter than normal, this is to limit our (yours, my staff, and mine) potential for exposure. I encourage you to schedule through text via Jane or through this page.
If you are not sure whether you should come, call, text or message. We will get back to you soonest.
I remain accessible to you, through my secretary, Jane or through messaging on this page.
Keep safe. Stay at home unless it is vital that you come.

Good day to all. In response to the call for Social Distancing during these trying times, I have created this page to make it easier for my patients to get in touch without physically going to the clinic.
The aims are: 1. To reduce exposure risk by lessening the back and forth between home, clinic, laboratory, and hospital; 2. To be able to assess which patients really need face to face consultation; 3.To be able to shorten waiting time at the clinic; 4. To limit the number of patients at the clinic at any point in time; and 5. To continue to serve those in need.
