𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 4, 2025 | 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬

The Medical Services Department successfully conducted its regular monthly meeting, addressing important updates and strategies aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery within the university. A comprehensive review of the patient census was presented to monitor trends and assess the current demand for medical services. Updates on the ongoing physical examinations were also discussed, highlighting both the progress achieved and the challenges encountered during the activity. As of August 1, 2025, the department has served a total of 3,247 new students, covering college, senior high, and junior high school students.

One of the key segments of the meeting was the 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐄-𝐇𝐑𝐌 Re-echo facilitated by Dr. Usmaima F. Usman, Medical Services Director, who provided a clear overview of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management and its re-choice process. Meanwhile, the Nursing Services, headed by Sheila Marie Esma-Madriaga, RN, MAN, SHC, introduced new strategies to improve patient documentation and record-keeping, aiming to ensure more accurate and efficient data management.

The meeting concluded with departmental updates and reminders, including the regular Nursing Services quiz designed to reinforce learning, assess knowledge retention, and promote continuous professional development. This initiative also encourages active participation, transforming routine meetings into more dynamic and meaningful learning experiences.

This is a milestone that marks a huge step forward in strengthening our emergency response and healthcare services on campus. This achievement is the result of a strong partnership and collaborative effort between our University Administration and the Medical Services Department. Through shared vision, commitment, and teamwork, what once was a plan has now become a reality.
