Company History

The high immigration rate of General Santos City and its environs, coupled with a rapid development in these areas, apparently increases the demand for the delivery of basic health services and facilities. The current state of our medical services and facilities cannot cope with the needs of this burgeoning population. Realizing this health care gap, a group of dedicated medical practitioners and businessmen, chartered the course for the establishment of a tertiary, multi-specialty hospital. was born with a mission "To Protect the Life at Every Stage of Human Development"

The hospital site is strategically located at L. corner Bula-Lagao Road, General Santos City, Philippines. While the Medical Center hopes to provide health care services to a large patient base as possible at affordable and reasonable cost, it also envisages to improve its ownership structure by way of inviting subscribers to benefit out of their investments. Thus, MT. MATUTUM MEDICAL CENTER, INC. exists to amplify quality health care services among its clientele in this Southern part of the Philippines.

Today marks another significant milestone for Socsargen County Hospital and the 29 aspiring nurses as we continue our mission to strengthen healthcare in the region.

Through the formal signing of a Memorandum of Agreement, we have proudly partnered with these promising student nurses, supporting them on their journey from education to meaningful careers in nursing.

Our Education-to-Employment BSN Scholarship Program is designed not only to help these students achieve their dreams but also to invest in the future of quality healthcare for our region. They will be expected to join the SCH family very soon.

BUILDING COMMUNITIES THROUGH STRONG PARTNERSHIPS

In a meaningful display of community care, NDDU Nursing Level 3 students, in collaboration with Socsargen County Hospital, brought together the residents of Purok Nangka, Barangay Conel, for a medical mission on September 12, 2025. The event offered free medical consultations, blood tests, and medicines.

Spearheaded by the nursing students as part of their academic training in community nursing, the initiative highlighted the value of experiential learning and service. Socsargen County Hospital supported the mission by providing professional medical assistance and essential healthcare services. Around 80 residents benefited from the free health services—an impactful step toward building healthier communities through strong partnerships.
