On June 16, 2025, the PSGIAC received verified information that the OLSAT-8th Edition used in the June 14–15 scholarship examinations had long been publicly uploaded online via Scribd. This may have originated from any location in the Philippines and was beyond the control of any local testing institution.

We clarify that South Cotabato State College (SCSC) Testing Center is not at fault. On the contrary, SCSC—who has been administering the exams free of charge—was the first to detect the issue and responsibly raised the matter to the Committee, recommending the nullification to protect the exam’s integrity.

After consultation, the PSGIAC approved the nullification of the June 14–15 exams and will conduct a retest for all applicants on July 5–6, 2025, at Marbel I Central Elementary School, Koronadal City, still under the trusted administration of the SCSC Testing Center.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience and thank SCSC for their vigilance. The Committee reaffirms its full trust and confidence in SCSC and enjoins everyone’s understanding and cooperation to ensure a fair selection process.
