Our Story
Young Voices is a group of dynamic 16 – 25 year old “Youths with Disabilities” (YWDs) who work to advocate and promote equal rights for the disabled community and to raise awareness of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons With Disabilities (UNCRPD). Young Voices is a global project of Leonard Cheshire, 19 YV groups in the world. In the Philippines Young Voices is one of the core programmes of the LCD Philippines Foundation Inc. along with Inclusive Education and Economic Empowerment. Currently we have four (4) YV Chapters organized in the country; YV NCR, Cavite,Iloilo, and General Santos City.
