❤️‍🔥 Culmination of the CPR Caravan and Celebration of World Restart a Heart Day! ❤️‍🔥

In line with the global observance of World Restart a Heart Day, the Philippine Red Cross - General Santos City-Sarangani Province Chapter - Safety Services Team successfully carried out a two-day Hands-Only CPR “CPR Caravan” on October 15–16, 2025, hosted by Brokenshire College Soccsksargen, Inc.

This meaningful initiative sought to promote the importance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and to empower students and faculty members with the confidence and skills to respond effectively during cardiac emergencies — reinforcing the belief that anyone can be a lifesaver! 🫀💪

The event also marked the culmination of the chapter’s CPR Caravan, demonstrating the Red Cross’s continued commitment to enhancing community readiness and resilience in times of emergency.

Our deepest gratitude to Brokenshire College Soccsksargen, Inc. for their warm welcome, enthusiastic participation, and strong support of this life-saving cause. Your collaboration played a vital role in making this event a success.

In view of the recent impact of the 7.6 Earthquake last October 10, 2025 in Davao Region, our NHQ requested our Chapter for the deployment of WASH assets and our Welfare Service team for the Food Truck.

WASH Team are responsible for clean water distribution.

For the Food Truck - hot meals distribution, we have deployed staff and volunteers at Davao Oriental.

🫀 CPR Caravan at Villamor College of Business and Arts, Inc. 🚑

The Philippine Red Cross General Santos City Chapter successfully conducted a CPR Caravan at Villamor College of Business and Arts, Inc. on October 10, 2025, held at the Villamor Covered Court.

The activity was actively participated in by the following departments:

✅College of Arts, Technology, and Sciences
✅College of Teacher Education
✅Senior High School

Despite the earthquake that occurred on the same day, the students remained resilient and enthusiastic, continuing to participate in the activity with dedication and commitment.

This initiative aims to strengthen community preparedness and promote life-saving skills among students and educators. Together, we continue to uphold the Red Cross advocacy of saving lives through education and action. ❤️
