According to USDA (2025), leftover cooked food may be stored in the refrigerator for up to three to four days. During this time, you can reheat the leftovers to 165°F (degree Fahrenheit) or 73.889°C (degree Celsius). Be sure to return any unused portion to the refrigerator within two hours to remain safe.

After each reheating, leftovers will be safe in the fridge for an additional three to four days. Because the quality decreases each time food is reheated, it is best to reheat only the amount needed.

Not every disability is visible,
but every story deserves to be understood.

As we mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities,
we choose compassion over assumptions,
access over barriers,
and mental health care that meets every person
exactly where they are. 💙

Every 40 seconds, someone dies by su***de, but every conversation can be a chance to save a life. 💬

Pay attention to sudden changes in mood, behavior, or sleep. Notice when someone starts withdrawing or using substances more often. These may be signs that they are struggling silently.

Check in. Ask how they are doing. Listen without judgment. Your concern could be the lifeline they need.

If you or someone you know needs help, you can reach the NCMH Crisis Hotline:

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

Not all disabilities can be seen. Invisible disabilities—like chronic pain, mental health conditions, or neurological differences—can limit or challenge a person’s daily life even if they aren’t visible from the outside.

That’s why true inclusion at work means going beyond what you can see:

✅ Listening when employees share their needs
✅ Providing accommodations without judgment
✅ Building cultures of trust and respect

Everyone deserves a workplace where they can thrive.
