HIV Situation in the City of General Trias – 3rd Quarter 2025

For July to September 2025, our Social Hygiene Clinic recorded:
✅ 32 newly diagnosed cases
✅ 651 people living with HIV (PLHIV) currently in care
✅ 13 diagnosed with Advanced HIV Disease (AHD), with Pulmonary Tuberculosis as the most common infection
✅ Majority of new diagnoses are among 25–34 year olds (48%)

Top barangays with newly reported cases:

San Francisco – 63 cases (11%)
Navarro – 50 cases (9%)
Pa*ong Camachile I – 33 cases (5%)

Let’s continue raising awareness, supporting testing through Community-Based HIV Screening (CBS), and helping our community reach the 95-95-95 UNAIDS targets. Together, we can make General Trias healthier and HIV-free!

❗ RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP, PARAAN PARA MAIWASAN ANG PANGANIB NG RABIES❗

Nasa 260 na ang ka*o ng rabies sa bansa mula January hanggang September 20, 2025. Nasa 95% ng mga ka*ong ito ay kinasasangkutan ng mga hayop na hindi bakunado o may unknown vaccination status.

Paalala ng DOH na pabakunahan taun-taon ang inyong alaga bilang proteksyon ng inyong alaga at ng inyong sarili laban sa rabies virus.

Ilan pa sa paalala ng DOH:
✅ Irehistro ang mga a*o at pusa sa inyong barangay.
✅ ’Wag hayaang gumala nang walang bantay ang mga alaga.
✅ Magpatingin agad sa Animal Bite Treatment Center kung makagat o makalmot ng alagang hayop.
