Ginatilan - Municipal Health Office

The MUNICIPALITY OF GINATILAN, is a 5th income class municipality in the province of Cebu with a population of 15, 584 as of 2016. With the implementation of the Local Government Code in 1991 that devolved health services from the national government to the local government units, support for health from the national government mostly came in the form of technical support while funding depended on the LGUs. With this, Ginatilan has been an active collaborator of the Department of Health with various development partners and the academe in innovating solutions to public health problems. Ginatilan Municipal Health Office envisage a responsive and healthy community through investment in accessible and equitable quality universal health care to its constituents with accountability, leadership and sustainable financing. Priority national programs are localized, and delivered with efficiency in 14 barangays through health human resources deployed. The local government of Ginatilan is committed to its role as stewards of health for its constituents. Thus we remain steadfast on our duties and commitment to uphold and protect the lives of our constituents, the Municipality of Ginatilan supports critical policies and plans, complementary actions and supportive measures that are necessary to prevent disruptions & quality in the delivery of basic health services appropriately, timely & efficiently through effective health governance.
