The Safety Services of PH Red Cross - Gingoog City Chapter will be conducting 2-day Occupational First Aid & Basic Life Support (BLS) - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with AED training course on August 18 & 19, 2025 at Ph Red Cross - Gingoog City Chapter.

The following requirements are set to maintain the safety of the instructors and participants.

1. Must be in good medical and physical condition.
2. Completed 2 doses of CoVid-19 Vaccine.

First-come, first-serve basis.

Our heartfelt thanks to LGU Gingoog City headed by Hon. Mayor Erick G. Cañosa represented by Dr. Enrique S. Guevarra City Administrator thru CDRRMO headed by Sir Marlon Pajo for organizing Mobile Blood Donation in culmination of Disaster Resilience month and Blood Donors month in partnership with the City Health Office headed by Dr. Jess Ganaban, and Physician In charge of MBD Blood Service team Dr. Niño Oliver Cezar, Nurses, midwife phlebotomists in collaboration with the Baragay Officials and Blood Donors of Brgy. 8, Brgy. 14, Brgy. 18, Brgy. 18-A, Brgy. 26, CEO, Motoorpool Division, CENRMO, CKC, Budget Office, CDRRMO staff, PRC staff and volunteers. We successfully collected 32 units of blood. Congratulations! EGC.

During the 65th Gingoog City Charter Day celebration, PRC Gingoog City Chapter under EMS team have been deployed to the sight of events to secure the safety and security of the public.

Some of the contingents experience exhaustion, fainting, minor abrassions and one has been transported to the hospital and was successfully attended by the team and other partner agencies (CDRRMO Gingoog and GINGOOG CITY HEALTH)

Thank you so much to all dedicated Red Cross Action Team (RCAT) 143 volunteers who rendered untiring service for making the operation successful.

Phil Red Cross goes all out to make Filipinos safer

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) is going all out to teach cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to Filipinos nationwide. Its CPR Caravan was launched on July 17 in celebration of the National CPR Day, aiming to train one million individuals this year.

“You can’t save a life if you don’t know what to do. Learn CPR,” PRC Chairman and CEO Dick Gordon stated.

In celebration of National CPR Day 2025, Philippine Red Cross Gingoog City Chapter together with partners agency, Gingoog City Health Office, CDRRMO Gingoog and LGU Gingoog joins the entire nation Lecture-Demonstration of Hands-Only CPR to 505 students participated from Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School and Gingoog City Colleges.
